True Averages
There have been some questions concerning the 4 teams that did not play 300 games. In every instance, there were “double forfeits”; In other words, neither team had 5 players available per set. It has always been the league’s stance that since NO GAME was played, and no player was available, we can not issue a win nor a loss for that particular game. Therefore, these teams will not have their averages based on 300 games because 300 games were not played. Instead, in order to get their “true average”, their statistics are based upon the ACTUAL number of matches played. To account for this any other way would alter their team average in an unfair way to both the individual team as well as the rest of the league.
As for “opposed forfeits”, or when one team has enough shooters and the other team doesn’t, the forfeit is a loss for the team without enough players, a win for the opponent and it DOES factor into the team average, as well as the average of the individual named to play against the “forfeit”. This was discussed and voted on during our initial 2011-2012 season meeting.
I hope this addresses any concerns. Should you have any additional question, please feel free to contact Marni directly. Should any member have a suggestion about changing these rules, please feel free to attend our “rules meeting”, which will be scheduled sometime in August 2012.
Thank you!

We have secured Saturday, June 23rd for our annual picnic.

End of Regular Season
First I would like to thank everyone that showed up this past Sunday for our Divisional Fun Day. Everything went so smoothly, we ended up running a King of The Hill and Queen of The Hill Tournament. Our winners were Dalton Shaw and Renee Serfass. Congrats!!!
This coming monday is our final regular season matches. Be sure that everyone on your team has enough matches in to Participate in Play-offs and also to be eligible for prizes at the Picnic. 20 matches for play-offs and 30 matches for prizes. I know there are a few that are short yet.
Thursday, March 15th at 7:30pm at Doc’s in Pocono Summit is a team captains meeting. Discussed will be your first play-off matches as well as the picnic. We need one member from every team to be present.
